Please note the surgery may be open some Saturdays for special clinics which will be booked by appointment only. Timings for these clinics will vary.

To obtain access to our services you can walk into the surgery during the times shown or alternatively phone the surgery on 01753 676361 or 01753 424496 between 08:00 to 18:30 any weekday - Monday to Friday (except public and bank holidays).  

Extended Opening Hours

We are offering internal extended opening times from 18:30 – 19:00 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There is a variation of face to face appointments with either a GP or HCA. We are also offering telephone consultations during this time.

External Extended Hours at Herschel Medical Centre

We are also offering external extended appointments for our patients from 18:30 – 20:00 Monday to Friday and weekends 09:00 – 14:00. Patients will be seen at the Herschel Medical Centre 45 Osborne St, Slough SL1 1TT. Appointments will be booked via Shreeji Medical Centre. You will not be seen by a Doctor of your choice. For further information please contact the surgery.

When We Are Closed

The Out of Hours Service should be used if you require urgent medical assistance only.  You can ring the Out of Hours Services on: 111. Calls to this number are free from landlines and mobiles.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

For life threatening emergencies call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath / Poisoning or overdose constitute an emergency etc.

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.

Staff Training

The Practice is closed once a month between 12:30 – 18:30 for training purposes so that doctors, nursing staff and admin staff can attend essential training.

For emergencies during the essential training period that cannot wait until the next working day, please either telephone 01753 424496, and you will be advised on how to contact the duty doctor or alternatively you may also telephone the Out-of-Hours service provider directly on 0300 024 0005 between 12:30 – 18:30. After 18:30 and before 08:00 please call 111 for urgent medical attention.

Please remember that this service is there to provide urgent medical attention for ill patients. If the service is abused by calling the doctor for requests for repeat prescriptions, appointments or minor illness which could wait until the next working day, then other patients could be put at risk.
